JoJo Starbuck

Alicia Jo " JoJo " Starbuck ( born February 14, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama) is a former American figure skater who started in pair skating.

Starbucks Figure skating partner was Kenneth Shelley. As early as 1959, the two ran for the first time together in a show. In 1961 she began to train professionally with coach John Nicks. In the years 1970 to 1972 Starbuck and Shelley were U.S. champion. They took in the period 1968-1972 at world championships. At the World Championships in 1971 in Lyon, 1972 in Calgary, they each won bronze behind the two Soviet pairs Irina Rodnina and Alexei Ulanov and Lyudmila Smirnova and Andrei Suraikin. Shelley and Starbuck run two Olympic Games. 1968 in Grenoble, where they finished 13th place, they were the youngest athletes the United States had ever sent to the Olympic Games. Sapporo in 1972 she missed a medal in fourth.

After the end of her career Starbuck and Shelley toured with the Ice Capades revue. They later began to work as a coach and choreographer and also acted briefly as an actress. Starbuck was 1975-1983 married to the football player Terry Bradshaw.
