Julian Winn

John Julian Winn ( born September 23, 1972 in Abergavenny ) is a Welsh former racing cyclist and current cycling official and coach.

In 2000 Julian Winn won the Irish An Post Rás cycling race, in the following year, the Irish Sea Tour of the North. He was British champion in the road race in 2002 and also won the pros at the Tour of Northumberland. In 2003 he started at the Giro d' Italia and became British vice-champion in the time trial. In 2004 he started in the Olympic Games in Athens in individual road race, but did not arrive at the finish. Three times - in 1998, 2002 and 2006 - he competed at the Commonwealth Games. 2005, 2006 and 2007, he was the Welsh champion in cyclo-cross races.

From 2010 to 2012 Julian Winn was race director of the former cycling team Endura Racing, and since 2005 he is Welsh national coach.
