Junkers A 35

The Junkers A 35 was a single-engine, low-wing out blank multi-purpose aircraft of the German manufacturer Junkers of 1926. The two-seater model was used for the transportation of mail and newspapers, as well as training aircraft.

History

The A 35 was a further development of all-metal aircraft Junkers A 25 was powered by a 228 kW Junkers L 5 - series motor, occasionally a BMW IV with 235 kW. The chassis could be replaced with a float frame.

With this type, and a Junkers G 24, the first experiments were carried out to the airplane drag.

On various occasions also Junkers A 20 and A 25 were equipped with the new engine and thus the A 35 aligned. However, since any changes to the cell were made, they retained their previous type designations.
