Modern Times

Kasımpaşa reached by the third league championship of the season 2006/07 after eight years of absence, participating in the second Turkish league. Already in the first second division season put the team through in the playoffs and was thus adopted as the last climber. This rise of the club after 44 years took part again in the Süper Lig, the highest Turkish league. In the first Erstligasaison after 44 years it was not possible the club in the league to establish itself. Thus, the club slipped on 9 Gameday from the bottom of the table and could not be released from his position despite several coaching change. Among other things, trained Werner Lorant for two months the team and handed resigned his office to Uğur Tütüneker. Also, this trainer can not change course and so the club already rose after a season again from the Süper Lig.

For the new season, the club parted on directive of Vural of several seasoned players like Cenk İşler, Ali Güneş, Koray Avcı, André Moritz, Murat Erdoğan, who were all instrumental in geteiligt league. Instead, 15 new players were signed also by the desires of Vural. The team started very badly in the Erstligasaison 2010/11 and slipped already on Matchday 5 on the bottom of the table. Despite the plight of the club held until the winter break at Vural. Then was engaged as head coach for the second round Fuat Çapa. As head coach Tütüneker was set for the second time Uğur. With this coach, the club played a long time around the table top. After the club, however, several failures had whopped end of the season, Tütüneker announced his resignation. This was then replaced by Metin Diyadin. With Diyadin the team managed for the third time in club history to qualify for the Playy -offs of TFF 1 Lig.
