Ken André Olimb

Ken André Olimb ( born January 21, 1989 in Oslo) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who plays at the Düsseldorf issued in the German Ice Hockey League DEL since 2013. His older brother Mathis is also a professional hockey player.

Career

Olimb played during his junior time for Manglerud Star. At the age of 16, he finally moved in 2005 to the Norwegian record champions Vålerenga Oslo, with whom he immediately won the league title in 2007. In parallel he completed in his two years at Vålerenga are also some inserts for the second team of the club. In summer 2008, the striker joined the club again. For two years he ran for the Frisk Tigers in the GET ligaen, however you celebrate without further success.

For the 2010/11 season the Norwegians finally moved abroad. With Leksand IF he was active in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan and Kvalserien.

Since 2013 he is at the Düsseldorf EC under contract.

Internationally

Olimb represented his country in both the junior and the senior level at the World Championships. For the U18 Junior Norway he played the Under-18 Junior World Cup in 2006 and U18 Junior World Championship Division I in 2007. With the U20 junior he ran in the World Championships Division I on in the years 2007, 2008 and 2009. In the senior level, the striker completed the 2010 World Cup in Germany and the World Cup 2011 in Slovakia.
