Kryštof Krýzl

Krystof Krýzl ( born October 12, 1986 in Prague) is a Czech skier. He specializes in the disciplines of giant slalom, slalom and super combined.

Biography

In November 2001 Krýzl took part for the first time in FIS races, bets in the European Cup was followed in December 2004. On 23 October 2005, he played his first World Cup race, the giant slalom in Soelden. At the Junior World Championship 2006 in the Canadian province of Québec Krýzl won the bronze medal in the combined score.

Krýzl was the beginning of his career as an all-rounder and raced in all disciplines. By the time he turned away from the downhill and the super -G and focused on the technical disciplines. On 27 January 2008, he won his first World Cup points as 25 of the super-combined in Chamonix. The following season 2008/ 09 was his most successful. On 12 December 2008 it reached ninth in the super combined in Val d'Isere his best World Cup result and on January 27, 2009, he scored the 13th place in the night slalom on the Planai in Schladming. Two weeks later he reached at the 2009 World Championships in Val d'Isere for the best results eighth place in the slalom and the eleventh rank in the Super Combined. Previously, his best result at major events of the 20th place in the combination of the 2006 Winter Olympic Games had been.

The good results of the 2008/ 09 could not repeat Krýzl in the next two years. Although he celebrated on 26 November 2009 in the giant slalom in Levi his first European Cup victory, but in the World Cup and at major events he remained - with the exception of a 17th place in the super combined of the 2010 Winter Olympics - without top 20 placement. On January 8, 2012 Krýzl drove twelfth of the slalom in Adelboden first time in almost three years into the top 20 of a World Cup race.
