History

The first written mention dates from 1416. The village originally belonged to the monastery Mildenfurth and became the Principality of Reuss slammed the Congress of Vienna in 1815 older line.

Culture and sights

The village church of Kühdorf dates from the year 1716. It is characterized by the fact that of the 36 meter high roof turret tower is anchored in the roof, and a unique construction in central Germany.
