Kundl is a market town with 4034 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Kufstein, Tyrol ( Austria ). The municipality is located in the judicial district of rats mountain.

Geographical Location

Kundl located in the Lower Inn Valley at an alluvial fan of Wildschönauer Ache, which flows into the Inn. History

Already in pre-Roman times is a settlement activity demonstrated. 1973 at a gravel pit a burial ground from the La Tène period was several hundred urns found. Economy

In the 20th century Kundl developed into an industrial center and commuter community, in addition to several well-known commercial enterprises and the tractor factory Lindner and the pharmaceutical company Sandoz Austria hosts, where Sandoz is the most important companies in the Tyrolean lowlands. Coat of arms

Kundl was awarded on January 8, 1953 municipal coat of arms. Blazon: " In a split triangular shield in the top box on a silver background, a red, turned to the right margined growing unicorn, in the lower field on a blue background with three gold stars. Culture and sights

Religious buildings
