Lennon Legend: The Very Best of John Lennon is the title of the third compilation album of John Lennon.
Genesis
In October 1997, EMI released in Europe and in February 1998 in the U.S., a compilation album of John Lennon, the 18 singles titles, published between 1969-1985, as well as two albums title ( Working Class Hero and Beautiful Boy ( Darling Boy) ) contains. Of the singles internationally published only Woman Is the Nigger of the World, I'm Steppin 'Out and Every Man Has a Woman are not included. The shortened version (Single Edit) by Mother was first released on CD.
Publication
In the U.S., the album reached number 65 in the UK number four in the charts in Germany, it came in at number 11 of the charts. The publication in LP and CD format took place in October 1997, the CD was released in June 2007, newly remastered. ; also appeared a limited edition, which also contains a DVD with bonus material of the same DVD.
The Very Best of John Lennon, which contains 20 music videos of John Lennon: In October 2003, the 100 -minute video collection Lennon Legend was released. The audio has been remixed in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. The videos were predominantly redesigned and were placed in the same playback sequence as the track list of the CD of the same name.
