Les Hôpitaux-Neufs

Les Hôpitaux - Neufs is a commune with 767 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Doubs and in the region of Franche -Comté.

While the church was formerly dominated mainly agricultural, the importance is now mainly in tourism, primarily due to winter sports at the nearby ski Métabief. We have built numerous private cottages.

In the 2000s the main road N57 Vallorbe - Pontarlier, which led through the village before, was widened to four lanes, this now leads north to the place over.

Worth visiting is the museum railway Coni'Fer, but the bus only runs during the summer months.
