Leyland DAF 200 Flatbed

The Austin Rover Group to the commercial vehicle division Freight Rover was split in 1987 by the privatization of the British government under Margaret Thatcher. The trucks and small vans of Freight Rover was introduced into the founded together with DAF Leyland DAF companies and as the Freight Rover 200-300 was from 1989 Leyland DAF 200-400 in the Commonwealth of Nations or DAF 200-400 in Continental Europe.

Leyland DAF and DAF 200-400 series 1989-1997

If the Freight Rover 200-300 continued to be built after the establishment of Leyland DAF initially received the 1989 series, a new radiator grille with the Leyland DAF or DAF badge. A PSA XUD 1.9 liter diesel engine replaced the MDI engine and the 300 was the 400th was now optional air suspension available.
