Librilla

Librilla is a municipality in the Spanish region of Murcia on the Mediterranean motorway (A -7 / E 15 ), about 27 kilometers west of the regional capital Murcia.

Geography

Librilla bordered to the east by the municipality of Murcia and Alcantarilla and to the west by the municipality of Alhama de Murcia. The village lies at an altitude of 178 msnm.

History

The church was first mentioned in 1154 under the name " Hissan " or " Lymbraya " ( Geisterschlucht ).
