Moratalla, Murcia

Moratalla is a city and municipality in the Region of Murcia (Spain ), located 83 km northwest of the provincial capital of Murcia. With an area of 955 square kilometers, the municipality has a Lorca ( 1676 km ²) and Jumilla (972 km ²) is the third largest of the Autonomous Community of Murcia. Moratalla counts 8229 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013), called moratalleros. Determining economic activities are agricultural products (olives, olive oil, almonds, apricots) and tourism.
