List of leaning towers

A leaning tower is inclined to the vertical tower. Leaning Towers can occur unintentionally due to uneven sinking of the soil. However, they may also have been intentionally built wrong for special requirements. The world's most famous example is the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The highest Leaning Tower is within 175 meters of the tower of the Montreal Olympic Stadium. The " schiefste " tower in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records the steeple of Suurhusen in East Friesland, where there is a particular concentration of oblique structures.

Building with inclined cubature and facade, but their floor levels are horizontal, are not referred to as the " Leaning Tower ".
