Macedonia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

This article deals with the history of Macedonia as participants in the Euro Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Due to the dispute over the name Macedonia between Greece and Macedonia the country is the ESC with the bulky name Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia referred (English: former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia ( FYROM), French: République yougoslave Ancienne de Macédoine ( ARYM ) ). As an English subtitle here is the abbreviation FYR Macedonia appears.

Preliminary decisions

From 2003 to 2011 Preliminary awards were held only in 2013, when they decided very late in participating, was chosen internally.

Participation in the competition

2003, it took part for the first time and since then every year until to 2012. The country once reached the eighth, once the seventh and two fifth places. After a split in last place in 2011, the radio withdrew from the competition. 2013 is now returned to a one-year break and was again last and for the fourth time in succession twelfth.
