Sweden in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
This article deals with the history of Sweden as participants in the Junior Euro Song Contest.
Preliminary decisions
From 2003 to 2005 SVT was responsible and kept the Lilla Melodifestivalen from. As TV4 in 2006 took over the mission of Junior Stage was used to determine the participants. From 2010 to 2011 have been selected and selects internally since 2012, now in a smaller extent, again the Lilla Melodifestivalen the Swedish representative.
Participation in the competition
2003, it took part for the first time and since then up to 2008 each year. In nine appearances they reached a third, two sixth and seventh place. Among the long-standing participants Sweden is thus rather less successful. Among the performers were only 9 in 2011 and 2013 boys.
