The 11th Junior Euro Song Contest 2013 took place on 30 November at the Palace "Ukraine" in the Ukrainian capital Kiev instead.

Participant

Kiev was the second time after 2009, hosts the event. In the year 2012 Anastasiya Petryk had won with Nebo ( German " sky " ), but in contrast to the adult competition was no reason for the discharge. The Ukraine had to apply together with other states to host. Nevertheless, this was the second time after 2011 that the competition was held in the country last year's winner. These were joined by Azerbaijan and Moldova, who wanted to cancel first, but then wanted to continue to participate. This year the Junior Euro Vision Song Contest made some rule changes for the introduction of the second decade. Songs should be 3:00 minutes long from now on, before was 2:45 minutes, the maximum length.

Albania Albania - Radio Televizioni Shqiptar ( RTSH ) said on September 25, 2013 the JESC 2013.

Bulgaria - The Bulgarian Bulgarian National Television station ( BNT ) announced that they would not return in 2013.
