The 5th Euro Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the fifth edition of the competition. He was held in the Ahoy indoor arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands on 8 December. The host country was selected by the European Broadcasting Union ( EBU) on 13 July 2006. The host city was announced on 11 September 2006. Winner of the show is Alexey Zhigalkovich from Belarus with the song S druzyami ( " With Friends" )
The EBU raised the minimum age of 8 years to 10 years. In addition, this was the last contest with the black male as a logo. From 2008, the Euro Vision Song Contest logo has been specially adapted for the JESC and used ever since.
Retraction participants
- Croatia Croatia - The Croatian HRT transmitter beamed last year's contest against the determinations should not live. Due to the imposed fine, the station withdrew from the competition.
- Spain - decided after hefitger criticism regarding the protection of children against participation.
- Bosnia and Herzegovina Bosnia and Herzegovina - withdrew shortly before the event for financial reasons back.
