Macedonia national football team
The Macedonian national football team is the national football team of Macedonia. In international tournaments, the Republic of Macedonia appears under the provisional name of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, FYROM abbreviated to.
History

The Macedonian Football Federation was founded in 1949 as part of the Yugoslav Football Association. After the independence of the country, he joined in 1994 at both UEFA and FIFA. In qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil Macedonia met with Belgium, Croatia, Scotland, Serbia and Wales. After two wins, one draw and four defeats Macedonia had no chance to qualify in three outstanding games already on 6 September 2013.
In qualifying for the Euro 2016 Macedonia meets Spain, Ukraine, Slovakia and Luxembourg as well as the first time on Belarus.
