Marc-André Bergeron

Marc -André Bergeron ( born October 13, 1980 in Trois- Rivières, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who stands in July 2013 in the ZSC Lions in the National League A under contract.

Career

Marc -André Bergeron began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, where he was active for the Baie- Comeau Drakkar Shawinigan Cataractes and 1997-2001.

He subsequently received a July 20, 2001 as a free agent contract with the Edmonton Oilers, for whom he made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League in the 2002/03 season. Previously, he had been in the 2001/ 02 season for their farm team, which played Hamilton Bulldogs in the American Hockey League. During the lockout in the 2004/ 05 NHL season the defender initially played in his hometown for the Caron & Guay de Trois- Rivières in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey. Bergeron played the entire 2008/09 season with the Minnesota Wild and was set as a regular player. In 72 games he scored 14 goals, had 18 assists and collected 32 points scorer. On 6 October 2009 he signed a contract with the Canadiens de Montréal. End of the season 2009/10, however, his contract was not renewed and Bergeron was some time without a club before he signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning was awarded in January 2011, which sent him to the farm team to the Norfolk Admirals.
