Dan Fritsche

Dan Fritsche ( born July 13, 1985 in Parma, Ohio ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since October 2013 at the ZSC Lions in the National League A under contract. His brother Tom is also a professional hockey player.

Career

Fritsche played in his junior time for the Sarnia Sting, London Knights and in his hometown for the local club Parma Flyers. Fritsche is the third player the Flyers, who has made ​​the jump to the NHL after Brian Holzinger and Michael Rupp.

For Team USA, he won in 2004 at the IIHF World Junior Championship gold medal.

Fritsche was selected at the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 in the second round by a total of 46 position of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
