2001–02 OHL season
The OHL 2001/02 season was the 22nd season of the Ontario Hockey League. The regular season began on September 15, 2001 and ended on 17 March 2002. Playoffs started on 21 March 2002 and ended with the first J. Ross Robertson Cup winning the Erie Otters on 10 May 2002 that in the OHL finals prevailed against the Barrie Colts.

With 110 points led Nathan Robinson of the Belleville Bulls scorers list of the OHL. Also, the 100 -point mark broke his strike partner Mike Renzi and Jason Spezza, who had been transferred from the Windsor Spitfires to Belleville in the course of the season. Most of the hits recorded Miguel Delisle, who was 55 times successful, while Zenon Konopka had the best result in assistance (68). In the plus / minus rating Darryl boat country led with a value of 48. Most power play goals scored by Miguel Delisle, who scored 19 times in majority. In outnumbered Dusty Jamieson had eight gates most commonly successful. With 268 penalty minutes Cam Janssen this season was the bad guy. Kevin Dallman was the most successful defenders with 63 assists and 86 points. Patrick O'Sullivan was the most successful rookie with 92 points.
