Marc Warren (Golfer)

Marc Warren ( born April 1, 1981 in Rutherglen, Scotland) is a Scottish professional golfer on the European Tour.

Career

Warren played the first year on the Challenge Tour, the European tournament series of the second power level. In the 2005 season, he won two tournaments and the money list, which he confidently qualified for the big European Tour. In August 2006 he won his first title, the Scandinavian Masters, the jump-off against the Swede Robert Karlsson. At the end of the 2006 season, Warren was awarded the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award ( best newcomer of the year). In 2007 he won with Colin Montgomerie of Scotland to the World Cup.

His supervisor is Bob Torrance, the Scottish coaching legend and father of former Ryder Cup captain and 21- times winner on the European Tour Tournament Sam Torrance.
