Margot Eskens

Margot Eskens ( born August 12, 1939 in Düren, others reportedly already on August 12, 1936) is a German pop singer who mostly enjoyed success in the 1950s and 1960s.

Biography and artistic work

The trained dental assistant Margot Eskens in 1954 he became a singer on a Polydor junior contest, which she won with the title Moulin Rouge. That earned her a recording contract with Polydor and meant rapid success in the music market. In October 1955 she was listed with the recording I want to go out today in the German hit parade for the first time and came up to third place. In the years 1956 and 1957 she was with the two number - one titles Tiritomba which sold over 800,000 times, and Cindy Oh Cindy celebrate their greatest successes.
