Mariah Carey is the debut album by American pop singer Mariah Carey. With more than 17 million units sold, the CD is one of the most successful of the year 1990.
With a big promotion, the album debuted on 30 June 1990 with rank 80 in the top 100 Billboard charts, where it eventually reached number one after eight months and was able to hold the tip for eleven weeks.
The work brought Mariah Carey two Grammy Awards, a, as " Best New Artist" and " Best Female Pop Vocal Performance ".
