Marshall Islands at the 2008 Summer Olympics

By participating in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, the Marshall Islands were represented at all for the first time in the Olympic Games. Anju Jason qualified as the first of the three participating athletes (two men, one woman ), and was the first participant in the Olympic Games, which comes from the Marshall Islands.

The National Olympic Committee of the Marshall Islands was founded in 2001 and was recognized in February 2007 by the IOC.
