Ecuador at the 2008 Summer Olympics

Ecuador adopted in 2008 for the twelfth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The Comité Olímpico Ecuatoriano nominated 25 athletes in 9 sports. Ecuador won a Silbermedaulle by Jefferson Pérez in the 20 km walk, which was able to win his second Olympic medal, and the second medal in the Olympic history of Ecuador. Pérez had already won in the same competition at the Summer Games in Atlanta in 1996 the gold medal.
