Cyprus at the 2008 Summer Olympics
Cyprus was represented by participation in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing in total for the eighth time at the Olympic Summer Games. The first appearance was in 1980. 17 athletes competed in five different sports. Marcos Baghdatis tennis player was injured just before the games on the wrist and could not attend. Standard-bearer of the opening ceremony was George Achilleos.
