Cyprus at the Olympics

Cyprus participated since 1980 in all the Olympics, so at eight summer and nine winter games. Previously Cypriots were already started under the Greek flag. First modern Olympic participants from Cyprus was Anastasios Andreou 1896.

Overall, Cyprus deployed since 1980 105 participants, including 75 men and 30 women. Cypriot athletes took part in 75 competitions in 12 sports.

Recent Cypriot participant was a swimmer, Anabel Drousiotou, which contested at the Summer Olympic Games in 1980 at age 14. Oldest Cypriots was the shooter Dimitrios Eleonora, who took part in the Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 at age 46.
