Botswana at the Olympics

Botswana, whose NOK, which was Botswana National Olympic Committee, established in 1978 and recognized in 1980 by the IOC since 1980 takes part in the Olympic Summer Games. On winter games so far participated in any athletes from the country.

A total of 52 participants including two women were sent. Nijel Amos succeeded in 2012, the first and only medal win for his country when he won the silver medal in the 800 -meter run.
