Cape Verde at the Olympics
Cape Verde, the NOK, the Comité Olímpico was Caboverdeano, founded in 1989, took part in the first 1996 Summer Olympics. At the Winter Games so far no athlete was sent
A total of nine participants were sent, including four women. Medals could not win athletes of the island nation to date.
The youngest participant was the 2012 track and field athlete Lidiane Lopes, who took over 100 meters at the age of 17 years and failed in the flow. The oldest participant was 2004, the marathon runner António Carlos Pina, who landed at the age of 38 years at No. 78.
