Papua New Guinea at the Olympics

Papua New Guinea, the NOK, which was Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee, established in 1973, since 1976 takes part in the Olympic Summer Games. With the exception of the boycotted Games of 1980 athletes were sent to all the following summer games. On winter games so far participated in no athlete Papua New Guinea.

A total of 56 participants were sent, of which 13 are women. Medals have not yet been won.

2000 took the 15 -year-old swimmer Kieran Chan the youngest athletes of Papua New Guinea in part. The oldest participant was 41 years in 1984 with the marksman Trevan Clough.
