Bermuda at the Olympics
The Bermuda Olympic Association is the National Olympic Committee of Bermuda. It was founded in 1935 and 1936, recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
So far, the athletes of the Caribbean island participated in 17 summer and winter six games. A total of 115 athletes entered, including 20 women, at. The Olympic debut took place in 1936. Except for the boycotted 1980 Moscow Games was sent to all the other Summer Games sports.
First and so far only medalist boxer Clarence Hill, who in 1976 won the bronze medal in the heavyweight division.
The latest member of the team in 1948 was the swimmer Robert Cook, who began at the age of 15 years. The sailor Brownlow Eve in 1960 at age 55, the oldest participant.
