Lesotho at the Olympics

Lesotho, the NOK, which was Lesotho National Olympic Committee, established in 1971, since 1972 takes part in the Olympic Summer Games. Lesotho participated in 1976 to the boycott of African countries and stayed away from the games of Montreal. At the Winter Games so far no athlete was sent.

A total of 45 participants were sent, of which 10 are women. Medals could not win Sportsman of the South African landlocked country so far.

The youngest participant was 1996 athlete M'apotlaki Ts'elho that was used at the age of 15 years in the sprint relay. The oldest participant was 1996, the marathon runner Thabiso Ralekhetla, who finished in 29th place at the age of 36 years.
