Guinea-Bissau at the Olympics
Guinea- Bissau, the NOK, the Comité Olímpico da Guine-Bissau, was founded in 1992, since 1996 takes part in the Olympic Summer Games. At the Winter Games so far no athlete was sent.
A total of 12 participants were sent, including five women. Medals could not win Sportsman of the West African country.
The youngest participant was 1996, the Athlete Amarildo Almeida, who started over 100 meters at the age of 20 years, but was eliminated in the flow. The oldest participant was the 2000 freestyle wrestler Talata Embalo, who took 36 featherweight and was ranked 19.
