Matt Cameron
Matthew Cameron ( born November 28, 1962 in San Diego, California) is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer of the rock band Soundgarden. Since 1998 he has been the drummer for Pearl Jam.
At age 13, he was playing with friends in a cover rock band called " KISS ". In 1978, he made an appearance in the comedy Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, where he sang the song " Puberty Love". In the early 1980s he moved to Seattle. There he became a member of the rock band Skin Yard. In 1986 he joined Soundgarden, their drummer he remained until the band broke up in 1997. Ever since Soundgarden reunited in 2010, Cameron plays for two bands, since he did not leave Pearl Jam.
He then came into existence at the Smashing Pumpkins. Besides, he had guest appearances on, among others, his former bandmate Chris Cornell. He occasionally plays jazz music, including at the Tone Dogs, and with John McBain Progressive Rock in the common side project Well Water Conspiracy. Cameron also belonged to the first live cast of Queens of the Stone Age.
