Mattia Pasini
Mattia Pasini ( born August 13, 1985 in Rimini ) is an Italian motorcycle racer.

Career
Mattia Pasini was inherited an interest in the motorcycle sport by his father Luca, who in 1984 won the title in the Italian Super Mono Championship. He played his first race at the age of nine years. 1996 won the Italian Pasini pocket bike championship, beating, among others, Andrea Dovizioso, Manuel Poggiali and Alex De Angelis. In 1998, he retired to in a motocross accident serious injury that forced him to deny any races in the next two years.
125 cc World Championship
After two successful years in the Italian 125cc Championship and the 125cc European Championship he made his debut in the 125cc class of the Motorcycle World Championship in 2004. Pasini started on Aprilia for the Safilo Carrera LCR team of Lucio Cecchinello, his team-mate was the 125cc World Champion in 2000, his compatriot Roberto Locatelli. Pasini reached regularly scoring points, finished the season in fifteenth in the championship from and secured the title Rookie of the Year.
In the following season, Pasini established as a top rider in the 125cc class. He started for the team Totti Top Sport - NGS of soccer players Francesco Totti, again with Aprilia, and celebrated his first Grand Prix victory at the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai. Three races later, at the Catalunya Grand Prix in Barcelona, his second success followed. With four other podium finishes Pasini 2005 reached the fourth place overall.
For the 2006 season, Mattia Pasini moved to the Master MVA Aprilia team of Jorge Martínez. The Italians reach victory at his home Grand Prix at Mugello and the Grand Prix of Germany at Sachsenring and again four more podium finishes and fourth place in the World Cup.
In the 2007 season Mattia Pasini went to one of the newly constructed RSA Aprilia factory machines in Polaris World team at the start, scoring after bests in the pre-season testing at the World Cup favorites. In the first half of the season the Italian was unlucky. He divorced several times in the lead by technical defects on his motorcycle from what zunichtemachte his title chances early on. In the second half of the season Pasini celebrated four wins, thus reaching even the fifth world ranking.
250 cc World Championship
For the 2008 season Mattia Pasini increased with the Polaris World team in the 250cc class. Back in work material from Aprilia road, the Italians succeeded in the first race, the Grand Prix of Qatar at Losail, his first victory in the new class.

In 2012 Mattia Pasini goes in the MotoGP class in Team Speedm Master on ART.
