Mers-les-Bains

Mers- les- Bains is a commune with 2917 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) by the Somme countryside on the border of Picardy to Normandy. The inhabitants are called " Mersois ".

Location

Mers- les- Bains is located on the coast of the English Channel, at the mouth of Bresle that mark the border between Picardy and Normandy is here, nestled between the chalk cliffs. For the location characteristic are numerous villas in the style of the 60s of the 19th century. On the other side of the département and region boundary is Le Tréport. The nearest major town is then Eu ( Seine- Maritime).
