Canton of Ault

The Canton of Ault is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Abbeville, in the department of the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Ault. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2004 Emmanuel Maquet (UMP ).

Geography

The Canton of Ault is 5,733 hectares ( 57.33 km ²) in size and has 10,984 inhabitants (as of 1999), which corresponds to a population density of around 192 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 70 m high, between 0 m and 127 m in Ault in Yzengremer.
