Canton of Boves

The Canton of Boves is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Amiens, the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Boves. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 1994 Olivier Jarde (NC).

Geography

The Canton of Boves is 18,406 acres ( 184.06 km ²) in size and has (2006) 19,899 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 108 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 73 m above sea level, between 21 m and 137 m in Glisy in Saint- Sauflieu.
