Canton of Domart-en-Ponthieu

The Canton Domart -en- Ponthieu is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Amiens, the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Domart -en- Ponthieu. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2008 Dominique Proyart (PS).

Geography

The Canton Domart -en- Ponthieu is 14,300 ha ( 143.00 km ²) in size and has 11,096 inhabitants (as of 1999), which corresponds to a population density of about 78 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 73 m, between 19 m in Saint-Ouen and 166 m in Bonneville.
