Canton of Combles

The Canton Combles is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Peronne, the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Combles. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 1998 Dominique Camus (NC).

Geography

The Canton Combles is 12,616 ha ( 126.16 km ²) in size and had (2006) 4121 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 33 inhabitants per km ².

The lowest point of the canton is 42 m in Curlu, the highest at 157 m in Ginchy; the average height is 104 m.
