Canton of Roye

The Canton of Roye is a French canton in the Arrondissement Mont Didier, the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Roye. Representative of the General Council of the department since 2004, Christine Lefèvre (PS).

Geography

The Canton of Roye is 19,961 acres ( 196.61 km ²) in size and has (2006) 13,231 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 66 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 85 m above sea level, between 56 m and 109 m in Moyencourt in Tilloloy.
