Armancourt (Somme)

Arman Court is a northern French village with 19 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) by the Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality belongs to the administrative district to Montdidier and Roye Canton and is part of the Communauté de communes du Grand Roye.

Geography

The church, one of the smallest of the department, is in the countryside Santerre, about 8.5 kilometers west of Roye, at the department road D133. In the west the dry valley Vallée de la Terrière that leads to Avre runs.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
