Morisel

Morisel ( Picard: Morisi ) is a northern French village with 516 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes Avre Luce Moreuil, in the canton Moreuil.

Geography

Morisel is then immediately on the left (western) bank of the Avre to Moreuil at the department road D14.

History

The community is called 936 as Moriselum. It was completely destroyed during the First World War in March 1918. She received the Croix de guerre as award 1914 - 1918 The reconstruction began in 1920. .
