Guyencourt-sur-Noye

Guyencourt -sur- Noye ( Picard: Dyincourt -su - Noé ) is a northern French village with 162 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) by the Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Noye, in the canton Boves.

Geography

The municipality is located almost entirely on the left (western) bank of the Noye opposite Remiencourt approximately 3 km north of the immediately adjacent Ailly- sur- Noye and 8.5 km south of Boves at the department road D116.

History

In Guyencourt prehistoric weapons were found flint. The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.

  • The 1750 built by Firmin Ducrocquet castle, in 1992 registered as a monument historique ( Base Mérimée PA00116283 ).

Personalities
