Briquemesnil-Floxicourt
Briquemesnil - Floxicourt ( Picard: Briquemannier - Flèchcourt ) is a northern French village with 169 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté de communes du Sud -Ouest Amiénois, in the canton Molliens- Dreuil.
Geography
Briquemesnil is situated on the D211 road department from Amiens to Molliens- Dreuil and 5 km east of the latter, and about 8 km southwest of Picquigny. Floxicourt located approximately 1.5 km west of Briquemesnil.
History
In the year 1925, Briquemesnil and Floxicourt merged to form a unified community.
