Warlus (Somme)
Warlus is a commune of 225 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. It belongs to the district Amiens and Canton Molliens- Dreuil.
Geography
Warlus is located approximately 4 km south of Airaines at the department road D901 (formerly Route nationale 1 after Poix- de -Picardie ) and forms the northern Tailly a settlement complex.
History
Warlus to have developed around an old monastery, which was subordinate to the abbey of Saint -Pierre in Selincourt. The rule was in the hands of de Créquy family.

Economy
The municipal area controlled designation of origin (AOC ) for lamb ( Pres-sales de la baie de Somme) apply. The lambs grazing on salt marshes at the Somme Bay.
