Poulainville

Poulainville is a northern French village with 1259 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté d' agglomà Amiens Métropole, in the canton Amiens -8 (North).

Geography

Poulainville is located on the Route nationale 25 after Doullens 6 km north of the center of Amiens, adjacent to Amiens. The municipal area extends north to the edge of Villers -Bocage. The disused railway line to Doullens touches the municipality.

History

The two manors of Poulainville were belonging to the French Revolution the cathedral chapter and the bishop.
