Mickaël Bourgain

Mickaël Bourgain ( born May 28, 1980 in Boulogne -sur -Mer ) is a French racing driver and four -time world champion.

Mickaël Bourgain since 1999, internationally active as a racing cyclist, as he ( with Arnaud Tournant and Vincent Le Quellec ) each took first place in both the sprint and team sprint at the Track Cycling World Cup in Cali.

His four world titles won Bourgain everyone in the team sprint: 2004 in Melbourne ( with Laurent Gané and Arnaud Tournant ), 2006 in Bordeaux with Arnaud Tournant and Gregory Bauge, 2007 in Palma de Mallorca also with Tournant and Baugé and 2009 with Baugé and Kévin Sireau. 2005 in Los Angeles, he was also vice-champion in the sprint.

From 1999 to 2009 Mickael Bourgain drove for Cofidis Équipe, then his contract was not renewed. He joined the team " AVC Aix -en- Provence ," to prepare for the 2012 Olympics in London. There he started in road racing, but he could not finish.
